Westside Family Church Summer on the Mount   Week 2: From 'It' To 'Thou' Pastor Dan Deeble 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ (aramaic term: idiot) is answerable to the court. Westside Family Church Summer on the Mount ⚽World Cup Finals👟🥅 (Argentina vs. Spain)⚽ Week 2: Wholehearted Pastor: Jonathan Hansen   Notes:  You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others ...

Blessed are the meek. Jesus announces that the good life is already available to you (right now, today) in His kingdom—even if your circumstances never change. So here's the question I want you carrying into this whole series: what if we've spent our lives pursuing happiness in places that were never capable of giving it to us? Notes: Christian:  3 times in the Bible! Disciple: being a student at the foot of Jesus (260 times!) These days, we look as "Happiness" is achieving something. Needs to pursue, achieved.  (The Pursuit of Happiness (Declaration of Independence) // Will Smith) True Happiness is available to US today! Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: "Blessed are th...
